Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP)

The Hair Loss Or Hairline Tattoo

The world’s leading hair loss solution, scalp micropigmentation is changing the lives of people across the world to feel confident again. From normal genetic hair loss and mild hairline recession, to burn or surgery related hair loss and alopecia.

What is smp?

Also known as hair tattooing, scalp pigmentation, medical hairline restoration and SMP, scalp micropigmentation, alongside its temporary counterpart tricopigmentation, is the world’s fastest growing solution for male and female hair loss.

Using advanced micropigmentation techniques, SMP can recreate a full head of shaven hair, even for men who are totally bald. For women, and for men who do not want to shave, SMP restores the appearance of hair density by reducing the contrast between the scalp and remaining hair, making hair loss much less visible.

Typically applied over 3 sessions, scalp micropigmentation is a highly evolved, artistic procedure that requires an advanced level of skill and aptitude to perform well. That’s why Forever Studios invests heavily in training with advanced educators from around the world to ensure our artists are at the very top of their game at all times.

What Can Scalp Micropigmentation Do?

The scalp micropigmentation process was originally developed as a solution to male hair loss. Advanced technicians like ours at Forever Studios have adapted the technique for a range of client situations.

As well as male baldness, SMP is also used to provide the appearance of thicker, denser hair in women, as a highly effective camouflage for hair transplant scars, and to conceal the signs of alopecia.

Following your scalp micropigmentation treatment sessions, you just need to follow basic aftercare consisting of a daily moisturising routine and use of SPF sunscreen when necessary. Clients need only to return to the clinic for top-ups every 3-5 years.

Book Your Treatment

At Forever Studios, scalp micropigmentation clients pay per treatment session with most people needing 2-3 sessions spaced about 2 weeks apart to complete the process.

Existing clients returning to the clinic for top-ups generally need 1-2 sessions, depending on the extent of pigment fade.
